Here goes nothing - this is our first email sent through Swimtopia so hopefully all goes well!  The countdown is on. . .we will be in the water NEXT WEEK!!  

Swim Suit Fitting

Our facility is hosting two golfer RVs for the golf tournament this weekend and they will be parked in our parking lot all week.  PLEASE park in the grass area when you come for the swim suit fitting on Wednesday.  We also will be asking everyone to enter the pool deck through the gate by the playground behind the tennis pavilion.  Let's all try to be respectful of these families that are paying for and calling our parking lot home for the week.

Coach David WILL be at the swim suit fitting!  Come say hi and introduce yourself and your swimmer.  Let's give him a warm welcome to the Hammerhead family!

PHOTOGRAPHER NEEDED

Do any of our parents have photography experience?  We are really struggling (and failing) to find a photography company that will take our team photo this year without using AI.  If anyone knows of a company OR an individual who is interested in helping us with this -  please send them our way!   You can contact us through the "Contact Us" form on the website, or email Alison Parker ([email protected]).

Junior Coaches 

Please plan to be at as many practices as possible.  We especially need help from 4:30-6pm with our. youngest swimmers.  Look for Coach David or one of our Assistant Coaches (they will be wearing Hammerhead gear at practices) and introduce yourself as a Junior Coach.  They will help you from there!  Thank you in advance for all of your help this season!

Swimtopia App

We need for at least one parent (or both) in each family to download the Swimtopia app.  This is where you will receive all alerts, notifications and information such as last minute weather updates, rain delays and more.  Please download the app and have your notifications turned ON.  If you do not have the app with the notifications turned ON, these notifications will be sent to your email instead.  

There is an option to pay for a premium "Pro-version" of Swimtopia.  This is not necessary in order to receive the communications and alerts.  The Pro Version will give you access to a Live Bar that keeps you up-to-date on what’s happening in real-time. It's like having an Event/Heat board in your pocket.  The SwimTopia Mobile display's Live Bar is invaluable if you can’t see clearly from your volunteer position, or you’re home with the siblings and trying to time your arrival.

I will be sending out test alerts during the week this week so that we can make sure everyone is getting the notifications before practices start NEXT WEEK!!!
